Dueling civil claims that pitted owners of two rival Fox Valley comedy clubs against one another in court were settled without a trial. An Outagamie County judge recently dismissed the case involving owners of Appleton's Skyline Comedy Cafe and Neenah's Comedy Quarter upon receipt of a settlement agreement. Cliff Diedrick (owner of the Skyline Comedy Cafe) filed the lawsuit against Pat Szalanski (who co-owns Comedy Quarter) in Outagamie County in June alleging that his former partner used Skyline's database of customer information as well as an advertising image to benefit his new business.
